The mountain range Krndija-Papuk description needs some minor rectification. While approaching Našice you can see some Krndija in the distance. Also, Papuk mountain range starts about there. Basically Papuk stretches for the most part from Našice until Čačinci. After that, Papuk is no more, so "Slopes of Papuk" are just some Podravina hills stretching towards Koprivnica. Thank you for another video, RR, I really like when you surprise me. 😉

Awesome captures

The good farmland, very neat villages and towns, well maintained right of way along with generally good condition of the railroad, makes me think I am in the middle of Illinois, USA. Only thing that is lacking are more huge grain elevators served by rail.

to be precise, only up to ViOp the loco was a Vectron. From ViOp onward it was a Siemens Taurus 1216 :)

Thanks for one more excellent video. Next section of this part that will be modernized is the one from Kloštar to Koprivnica (part of the Kloštar - Koprivnica - Varaždin - Čakovec project) which is expected to be finnished in few years from now. :)

This route is basically my childhood. I took the train from Cakovec to Osijek around 5 to 10 times a year to visit my grandma who lives in Osijek. Thank you for bringing me down memory lane. I really love it❤

Swietelsky, Austrian construction company will be modernizing 45km section between Koprivnica to Pitomaca, so speeds should go up a bit, it is approved for speeds up to 120kmph, current speeds are around 60kmph on much of the section should improve dramatically, Section between Osijek and Koska also got funding for modernization. All paid out of Croatian state budget, sadly EU does not fund local or regional routes. The line will be entirely modernized and new signalization installed, so journey between Osijek and Koprivnica should last only 90-100 minutes. Good video, shows all the progress on the line. The line won't be electrified btw, but new bi-mode battery - electric trains will be put on the line, with battery charging stations in Osijek and Virovitica being built as we speak. First battery trains should enter service in 2025.

It took me a few attempts to finally finish watching this interesting video: I kept falling asleep at the end, partly due to the hard week at work and partly due to the not so varied journey in the last third where it was just straight ahead for a long time without any major changes to the left and right of the route... 😌 It's very clear that the railway is still important and is even being expanded and modernized 👍 Fortunately, airplanes and private transport (cars) have not yet gained the upper hand! 🤗 Perhaps I can write to you either via Instagram message or your homepage? I have a film suggestion for a nice railway line here in Germany and, if you're interested, I could also give details about the individual stations and other things worth knowing (tunnels, bridges, etc.) - that would take some of the planning off your hands... 😉☺️ Best wishes 🖖

Ja volim HŽ, točno vidiš kako trava raste u realnom vremenu. Za vrijeme Jugoslavije bila je ruta Zagreb/Osijek zvala se Podravka, 2:30sata ti je trebalo doći do zadnje točke...sada je 2024g i sada treba od Koprivnice do Zagreba 1:30sata 🤣

It is very interesting to watch the stages of such construction work, as the individual built and repaired pieces are joined together. However, such work can be inconvenient, so I wish the locals patience and patience. At first, I thought that the speed readings were incorrect due to the presence of GPS jamming devices near the border. But then I realized that I was wrong, since the speed data is not accurate throughout the trip. Despite the lack of lighting and the frequently changing white balance, the video still turned out to be atmospheric. Сначала я думал, что показания скорости неправильные из-за наличия средств глушения gps-сигнала возле границы. Но потом я понял что ошибался, так как данные о скорости не точные на всем протяжении поездки. Несмотря на недостаток освещения и часто меняющийся баланс белого, видео все равно получилось атмосферным.
